The company said that Michael Lohscheller will replace the founder as CEO at the end of the year and that it will appoint a new CEO for the North American unit. Michael Lohscheller, also the president of Opel, will replace CEO Mark Russell at the end of the year.

Although he has been with the company for more than 30 years, Russell announced his retirement on August 10, 2022. Russell will retire at the end of the year to spend more time with his family.
