OpenAI has introduced a new feature called ChatGPT Pulse, designed to provide users with customized daily updates based on their interests — including crypto markets. The company expects Pulse to benefit those trading or following cryptocurrency trends.
Starting today, Pulse works behind the scenes: it synthesizes your chat history, feedback, and connected apps (like calendar or Gmail) to decide what’s relevant, then delivers visual “cards” each morning with updates on topics you care about.
For example, crypto traders can opt to receive market summaries, breaking news, and trend highlights. OpenAI hopes this moves ChatGPT from a reactive Q&A tool into a proactive assistant.
Currently, Pulse is available to Pro users on mobile, with plans to extend it to Plus users later.
Pulse doesn’t just rely on chat content. It learns what matters to each user and adjusts over time: users can upvote or downvote the updates to refine what they see. Cointelegraph
OpenAI cautions, though, that while the tool can suggest market insights, it is not a substitute for professional financial advice.
As AI tools gain popularity in finance, Pulse may further blur the line between human analysts and automated assistants. According to a survey by Finder, about 15% of British investors already rely on AI for crypto trading tips, and 16% for stock advice.
Pulse also taps into users’ Google data — like Gmail and Calendar — to suggest tasks, agendas, or relevant info in the morning display.
