The group's satellites provide a wide range of services for TV contribution, corporate networks and fixed and mobile broadband markets. Eutelsat's 30 satellites broadcast 4,500 digital television channels in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and significant parts of the Americas and the Asia-Pacific. The operating profit of the group was E641.3 million ($859.5 million) during FY2012, a decrease of 0.6% compared to FY2011. The net profit was E326.1 million ($437 million) in FY2012, a decrease of 3.7% compared to FY2011.
