Deal value in North America increased from US$713 million to US$773 million, despite a decrease in deal volume from 26 in August to 21 in September. Fund raising and focus on business expansion to cash in on the emerging opportunities in the C4ISR electronics and IT, and logistics and support segments fuelled the growth in deal value in North America.
Partnership transactions recorded the most deal activity in September, accounting for 44% of the total volume recorded during the month. The month recorded 17 transactions, which represented a rise of 70% over the previous month and 42% over the TTM average.
